Victor and Fernando are stylists in Mexicali, Mexico who are the go-to professionals for the city’s socialites. To their customers, they were a lovely couple — until they decided to marry legally. Through their fight to respond to a loss of support from customers and friends and to a backlash of criticism, they raised awareness among Mexicali’s society of the need to fight homophobia and inequality.
