Event: COMMUNITY PRESENTATION: Unholy
Written by Diane Flacks
Directed by Kelly Thornton
January 15 to February 5 at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre
"Should women abandon religion?" Four female panelists face-off in a wild, whip-smart public debate about religion and misogyny. With opinions flying from a feminist Muslim, an Orthodox Jewish spiritual leader, an excommunicated nun and a lesbian atheist pundit, Unholy delivers a hilarious, no-holds-barred look at contemporary women in organized religion.
Diane Flacks is an Emmy, Gemini and Dora nominated writer/performer, known for her theatre work, her four smash hit solo shows, her TV series, and her book: Bear With Me.
