In-Person Tickets & Box Office Info

To purchase memberships, ticket packages and tickets, visit our box office any time at insideout.ca/boxoffice. During the festival dates, visit the Inside Out Festival Box Office at TIFF Bell Lightbox, 350 King Street West. The venue box office is open every day of the festival, two hours before the first screening of the day. For assistance outside of these hours, please contact us at boxoffice@insideout.ca.

 

Digital Tickets

To purchase digital all access passes, ticket packages, or single tickets, visit our box office anytime at insideout.ca/boxoffice. All single tickets for digital screenings are valid for 48 hours after you press ‘Play.’

The All Access Pass allows for one viewing of all films on the platform, for one household. Access to all digital screenings, regardless of when ‘Play’ is pressed, will end at 11:59pm on June 5.

What are the festival COVID-19 protocols?

For information about the COVID-19 protocols in place at the time of the Festival, May 26 to June 5, please visit insideout.ca/festival/covid19.

 

Where can I get tickets, passes, or packages?

All Access Digital Passes, 5-Pack and 5-Pack Reel Access packages are available to purchase now at insideout.ca/boxoffice. Individual in-person and digital tickets will go on sale on May 6, 2022. If you are a member, your ticket packages and passes will be added into your account in advance of the festival.

 

How do I get tickets for in-person and digital screenings?

Please visit insideout.ca/festival/schedule to view our full list of Inside Out films. When you find a film that you would like to watch, simply add it to your cart and proceed to the checkout. If it is an in-person screening, you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket attached. If it is a digital screening, you will receive a voucher code that will unlock access to that film on our Inside Out online portal at watch.insideout.ca.

 

Do Inside Out members receive member pricing?

Yes. Inside Out members receive discounts on Festival and year-round screenings, as well as a number of digital tickets depending on membership level. Find out more about Inside Out memberships at insideout.ca/memberships.

 

Can I share my All Access Digital Pass with friends and family?

No. Passes are tied to the purchaser’s account and cannot be shared. Passes only allow for one stream per film, per household. Digital tickets may be purchased for other people, but the voucher code cannot be used more than once.

 

Can I refund or exchange my tickets?

Refunds and exchanges are not available. All sales are final, so please ensure your order is correct before completing your transaction. I have not received my ticket voucher or confirmation email.

 

What should I do?

Ticket vouchers and confirmation emails are sent automatically when an order has been made. If you do not receive an email within a few minutes of your purchase, please check your junk or spam folders. If you need any assistance beyond this, please contact boxoffice@insideout.ca.

 

Can I stream digital screenings if I am outside Ontario?

All digital screenings are geo-blocked to Ontario. You must be within the province to stream our digital programming.

 

Will there be rush tickets available for sold out screenings?

Unfortunately, due to contact tracing and reserved seating, there will not be rush ticketing at this year’s festival. An allotment of same day tickets, however, will be released each morning depending on availability.

What if I didn’t receive a link for the watch portal?

All festival digital content is available at watch.insideout.ca

 

How long do I have to watch the films?

Once you press “play” on a film, you have 48 hours to complete your viewing.

Do I need to download an app to watch?

No, you do not need to download and install an app to watch. Inside Out does offer an Apple TV or Roku app, but it is not required.

 

Can I stream on Roku?

Yes, please search ‘Inside Out’ and add to channel to stream from your Roku app. 

 

Can I stream on AppleTv?

Yes, please search ‘Inside Out’ and add to channel to stream from your AppleTV app. 

You can AirPlay from most browsers if you have Apple TV by selecting the cast button on the bottom right-hand side of the player.

 

What are the system requirements?

You can watch content on PCs running Windows 7+, and Intel-based Macs running OSX 10.12+. You can also watch films on Android tablets and phones using Chrome, and on iPhones and iPads using Safari.

 

What are the requirements for Windows computers?

Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10

Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser. Internet Explorer is not supported.

 

What are the requirements for Mac computers?

Mac OSX 10.12 or later

Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser.

 

Can I watch content on my iPhone/iPad?

Yes, you can watch content using Safari on iOS 11.2 or later. Please note that you must have “Screen Mirroring” turned off for content to play.

 

Can I watch content on my Android Device?

Yes, you can watch content using Chrome on Android 6.0 or later.

 

Can I Chromecast content?

You can Chromecast from a Chrome web browser on PC and Mac computers by selecting the cast button in the bottom right-hand side of the player.

 

What happens if I forget my password?

Use the password reset option on the login page to reset your password. You will need access to the e-mail address you use to log in.

 

Why does video playback stall or not play smoothly?

We use adaptive bitrate streaming, which means the streaming quality will automatically adjust based on your internet speed. If your internet connection is weak or inconsistent, you may experience problems during playback. If you’re on wifi, try moving closer to your router.

Inside Out is committed to improving accessibility for all audience members by identifying, removing, and preventing barriers.

The Reel Access discount is available for students, seniors, underwaged patrons, and patrons with disabilities. Valid for all in-person and digital screenings during the 2022 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival. Must be in Ontario to view digitally. We are soliciting captions or full subtitles for all our 2022 programming, depending on content that is provided.
