Inside Out: Community Survey for Strategic Plan 2022-2025
Inside Out is developing a new strategic plan that will guide our work over the next three years. An important step in our consultations is to gather information from our community through a survey. We hope that you will share your thoughts and experiences with us. It will take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete, and we appreciate your time. We will welcome survey responses until midnight Eastern Daylight Time (23:59:59 EDT) on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. This provides an opportunity for reminders and targeting particular communities that haven’t necessarily responded.
Token of Appreciation and Prize Draw:
As a token of appreciation for your time and feedback, survey respondents will receive a free access code for Inside Out’s Digital Cinema. Additionally, survey respondents that indicate interest to be considered to participate in a focus group will be added to a draw prize, which provides the chance to receive an All Access Digital Pass to 2022 Inside Out Film Festival (valued at $225) and a $100 gift card to Inside Out’s Shop. The prize draw winner will be contacted before October 31, 2021, by e-mail. Further details will be provided in the confirmation of the submitted survey.
Throughout this survey, we primarily use the acronym 2SLGBTQ+ to refer to those of diverse sexualities, gender identities and expressions. Inside Out recognizes and acknowledges all identities and expressions within the larger spectrum. It is never our intention to be less than inclusive with shortening of the acronym to 2SLGBTQ+, and we are open to feedback from the community regarding the best future use of the spectrum acronym both in our operating name and our public promotions.
More about the survey:
• The survey includes questions about the opportunities and challenges currently facing our organization and community, as well as a few questions about the program delivery of our initiatives.
• We will use survey responses to inform the development of our new strategic plan, which will be launched next winter.
• Strategic plans guide organizations in fulfilling their mandates by creating goals and crafting strategies to achieve those goals. Inside Out is committed to including a broad range of perspectives in the process so we can be confident that our plan best meets the needs of the community and reflects our current realities.
All the responses provided will be completely confidential. To ensure anonymity, Inside Out has engaged an independent research Consultant to analyze the responses.
