Meeting up with an ex years after a tumultuous breakup can be dangerous, but it can also be healing. And for Kris and Naomi, it could be both.

A decade after abruptly breaking up with Naomi, Kris invites her to dinner to catch up on their complicated lives, relationships, and Kris’s transition. Over the course of an evening, Naomi and Kris engage in a series of increasingly intimate and vulnerable conversations, culminating in a shocking revelation.

Inspired by pieces of her own life and transition, filmmaker Mari Walker explores the universal truth that no matter how much you may change, parts of you will always remain the same.
