Middle-aged Jack (Barry Ward) is faced with a dilemma: should he continue his life with his wife and son, or start a new one with Daniel, a charming younger man he recently met?

Set in a remote fishing village in North Wales, this atmospheric and moving film follows Jack as he faces a difficult choice. Jack is married to Maggie (Liz White) and a father to teenage Tom Henry Lawfull), who Jack hopes will follow him into the family mussel business. When Daniel (Lorne MacFadyen), a deckhand, arrives in town, Jack’s long buried desire to be with a man surfaces, and the two begin a steamy and tender affair. As the affair grows, Daniel wants more but Jack is reluctant to give it. He still values his married life but also wants to explore living openly with a man. Which will he choose and what will he have to give up in the process?
