Run It Back
Introducing Run It Back
As Toronto steps into a major year for sport and culture, we’re proud to present Run It Back: A League of Our Own: a 2SLGBTQ+ sports screening series spotlighting stories of teamwork, resilience, gender equity, and queer community on and off the field.
From iconic underdog tales to films that stretch (and joyfully bend) the definition of both sports and queer cinema, this series champions the stories too often left on the sidelines.

Shot and created in Toronto, executive produced by Elliot Page’s Page Boy Productions, directed by D.W. Waterson, and produced by and starring Devery Jacobs—we cannot get more Canadian than this! Stay after the screening for a Q&A with D.W. Waterson and Devery Jacobs.

On May 4, Run It Back returns to the Paradise Theatre with a special pre-festival screening of Bring It On. But that’s not all—join our festival programming team ahead of the screening for a thorough rundown of what we’ve got planned for this year’s festival. This is not a democracy, it’s a cheerocracy, so we insist you get your tickets now!
