Spring is here! While the weather outside is still temperamental, we have a lineup of community events and queer films for this month to brighten your mood. Here’s everything happening this April.

We’re here to please you, Baby at Images Festival

We’re co-presenting We’re here to please you, Baby alongside InterAccess, Vtape and Ed Video Media Arts Centre on April 12. Curated by Kiki (Kiera Boult), this screening features the work of Deirdre Logue, E. Jane, Renèe Helèna Browne, Zhongyao Wang. With desires shaped and formed by reality TV, and where the lines between selfhood and audience collapse, ‘We’re here to please you, Baby’ will be hosted by Kiera’s performance alias, Kiki highlighting a craving for enmeshment. In this program, we explore the shared limits of persona: how much Kiki gives, how much she feeds the embodiment of desires, and where her boundaries and Kiera’s begin to dissolve. Stay after the program for a conversation with Kiki and Riss Sean Cruz.
